1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
5. Don’t search around and look for the coolest book you can find. Do what’s actually next to you.

Via Rad Geek.

So what I get is "....Keystone wasn't totally successful."

Which tends to prove what I thought, that these things never work too well with fiction, especially when there's plenty of dialogue (as in the quote). Well, there are some writers who have gems of sentences constantly, I'm afraid Marcia Muller isn't one of them... (but she's not exactly a favourite of mine - she's one of those "if there's nothing else at the library, she's normally a decent read" kind of authors for me).

And here is some more Rad Geek (at great length, as is usual for him!) on why this is not a "meme".
