I agree about the integration of sex and "plot". It de-sensationalized the fucking and brought it to the level of essentially just another character in the film. The benefit, I think, of basing the story on some of the actors' personal issues, was that it was emotion porn for me -- I love peeking into others' psyches. (Amazing, that -- for a blog-fan?) So anyone who hates to think and talk about feelings and figuring things out, would hate the movie. Which was my ex-gf's response to it.
