Although I've just read the excerpt on Amazon, and she hasn't got her facts straight when talking about the origins of non-monogamy for heterosexuals. FWIW, "swinging, open marriage, and multilateral marriage" were not (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oneida_Community) "the first forms of organised, documented non-monogamy".
