I'm definitely with you on supermarket aisle rants. I've been avoiding Aussie rice for a while, but after more recent reading-up on it, I'm making it a real policy. There are a few other bits and bobs I'm wondering about, but I need to read up some more (such as sugar).
It's great that there are a lot more carbon offset options around. While it's essentially throwing money at a problem, it seems like an effective strategy, at least for the short-medium term.
