Actually, it was immensely reassuring to know that the mercy supply dash would have swung into action if needed, yay.
I'm also fairly sure the embarrassment factor would have declined if I had managed to convince myself I was dying of meningitis. :-D
I'm feeling much better now - I'm even going to essay some tinned sketti for dinner. Makes a bit of a change from the other night, but it's comfort food par excellence (for peculiar types like me).
