We have one, but I think we got it as a gift. I do find it faster to use than a manual one, and less prone to mishap. That's not enough that I'd run out and buy one if I didn't already own one, but it's been nice occasionally, because I tend to forget to open cans of things until the EXACT moment the stuff in them is needed curing cooking.
