I hope it's not the kids swinging. And it must be said that I must be getting corrupted in my old age - whenever I see the word "sling", it's not the kind that supports a broken arm that springs to mind first.
One presumes somebody with a less-than-stellar grasp of written English meant to say "trampoline".
Unless, of course, they've noticed how much little kids enjoy stomping on things, the groundskeepers have complained about a problem with moles on the grounds, and management decided to kill two birds with one stone?
Knowing some children, I wouldn't like to speculate on what they were trampling. If it were North (rather than South) Auckland, it could be grapes, but they're a bit of a distance away (30km) from the wine area where that motel is. :-)
