As for Paradise, yep, sure, it's a satire rather than a model, thank god. I have managed to rationalise that part - and it's nice you have fond memories (yay Rocky Horror, and I can totally imagine you doing Janet) - although I still really hate the reminder of the entrenched "battle of the sexes" bullshit that still gets played out. I seriously saw a post the other day from some guy that said that "girls" should "keep themselves nice" if they want a man, and that men need to have "fat wallets". Of course, he was single.
That's a bugger with the Beatles song, though. It's not like their back catalogue is going to stop being played any time soon. :-(
