Thank god for Google
Mar. 24th, 2010 11:39 pmSo, there's a woman who is currently consulting at work for a project that is somewhat aligned to my area, and we've done a bit of work together. I thought she was quite cute (and bright, onto-it and all that other nice stuff), and over the last couple of weeks have actually thought about doing something about it. (It's ALIIIIIVE!)
However, before deciding whether to suggest grabbing an after-work vino one day, or something like, I decided to do a bit of Google investigation. OMG, I am so glad I did. Married, kids, Catholic (or at least sends the kids to a Catholic school).
Well, that would have been embarrassing. And to be honest, while I can be clueless when someone's giving me a vibe, if I actually do get a vibe, there is normally something going on. She gets all playful and giggly around me, and she most certainly isn't in the general context (although not humourless, it must be said). Meh, perhaps some girly bonding in the blokey work environment.
C'est la vie. Onwards, and all that. :-)
