I've left this open because I wanted to say something deep and meaningful in agreement but I think it's better just to let you know I'm with you, given the slowth of my brain currently.
(I will note that now I've noticed this effect, I think the most effective leadership I've experienced has nearly always been a two-person deal, a "mum" and a "dad", although of course often what the "mum" does is not recognised or paid as leadership.)
