Oh, yeah, this is definitely the time of year for them to come out. I've managed to avoid them up to now, because of the aforementioned analitude about freezing everything grain-based I buy before putting it in the cupboard. However, I think I was lax with a package of popcorn a couple of weeks back, because I assumed that something commercially packaged (rather than scooped at the organic store) would be less likely to have bugs in it. Silly me.
It also turns out that many of my airtight containers were less than airtight, so I'll have to test all those before putting anything back in them, meh.
I've bought some of those hormone pantry moth bait traps, and the one I've installed has already caught over a dozen of the fuckers. This is after cleaning the pantry, ditching just about everything grain-like, and scattering bay leaves about. Still, yay modern technology with the pest control.
