Actually, I was surprised how few commenters on that page went "disgusting! shame on you!" - only about 3-4. The one who said "OMG, these men are naked and it IS porn, what are they going to do to top this next year???!!" cracked me up. Indeed, where will it end? Does no-one think of the children?

Also, feminist progress - men being objectified as much as women? :-)

Yes, I thought last year's pictures were better in the artistic sense. They were better-composed in terms of framing the subjects. That's about the only level I appreciated them on, unfortunately. Since the subject matter really does absolutely nothing for me at all (well, I might think "hm, I wish I had sleek muscles like that one")

Still, it's all about sharing the lust objectsluuurve here. :-)

Yeah, the last one definitely pushed more of my "intriguing photograph" buttons.

My dad's taken to watching football (AFL) in his old age, and one evening when I sat down to watch with him, I couldn't help staring at the players' legs. I have no idea what dad made of me moaning "oooh, I want quads like that!" and the like.

As for Mr 13, there's just something in the curves that is aesthetically pleasing. I think it's verging on feminine. Last year's calendar, the ones that appealled to me were the ones that played with that, too.
