Okay, okay, okay

I'm about to reveal a deep dark part of myself to the public. It is, *shuffle feet*, the fact that I totally love the I Can Has Cheezburger site. What it is about those pictures of cats with TXTSPK slogans ("lolcats" or "macrocats") that amuses me so vastly is utterly beyond me. Someone should do some research as to why. Because I'm not the only one.
The reason I succumbed today? This picture made me laugh and laugh for about five minutes non-stop. All the stupid catties, tagged for your categorisation pleasure. Remember Monorail Cat? Well, there are new and bloody hilarious versions of him. Then there are the cats that go HALP! And the ones who like to screw with your brain. And who are into philosophy. Some of them are lame, but not that many.
The Cheezburger cat starts here, but he gets into all kinds of wierd places. He's starting to look very Bride of Chucky to me. Even when he's celebrating Caturday.
The pièce de résistance, I have appropriated as the icon for this post. *loves*
(ok, I've finished embarrassing myself now)

Date: 2007-02-21 08:57 am (UTC)I think you're right - catties are much better at looking evil/sinister than dogs, IMO. Oh, and cool. :-)

Date: 2007-02-19 05:39 pm (UTC)I still on some level pretend to be above reading such things regularly, but every so often I cave and spend a couple of hours giggling myself silly. :) Those kitties!
Did you ever get into Cat Town (http://www.spatch.net/cattown/index.html)? It's easily the most inane thing I've ever been hopelessly addicted to.
