Installed my pretty funky new bedside lamp. I was concerned, since it's a halogen bulb, that it was going to be too bright and cold a light. But no, it's just right, and fits well on my bedside stand.

Renewed my acquaintance with the works of Garbage, who are releasing a new album. As I got it before the release date, I will not divulge my source (it is the CD, not a download). Also, FWIW, Shirley Manson still has the sexiest voice in pop/rock. [link not exactly relevant]

Found out that my dancing technique hasn't really been improved by my knee injury two years ago. Fuckit.
