Still at work

...and I'm not happy.

I am stuck here trying to get email logs into a format that is wanted, and it's a PITA. Repeat after me: "I am not a programmer". I also had to abandon my lunch with the CDL, and that really didn't do wonders for my mood. After providing the initial info wanted within 1/2 an hour, they decided they wanted it another way after 5pm. And here I still am. Also, fucking curses to Postfix logs, which don't have sender/message id/recipient on a single line (and even less so if you're using antispam that changes the message id partway through). GRAR. It doesn't help that I know that at least 6 of you could probably write a new parser in about 15 minutes.

Will be down in Canberra this we'end, getting in on Saturday morning (by train) and leaving by bus on Sunday evening.

How does something alcohol related sound Saturday night? Or with an alcohol option for them as doesn't?

Heh, that's something. Thank you for the warm thoughts! I managed to get the urgent part out the way, and now I just need to get something ready for next time (because I'm sure there will be a next time).
