(can you tell it's a sloooooooow day at work?)
Anyway, if you don't follow her blog, and you think she is one of the coolest contemporary writers in existence AND you're in the right kind of timezone, you should check out http://www.scparks.com/improv/PRC_Live.asx Saturday at 11am Pacific Time (4am Sunday my time, alas!).
As Laurie explains:
For us poor benighted sods who really don't love any author so much as to get up at 4am on a Sunday for a webcast (also, it's in Windows Media format, feh), we can check out the first draft online at: http://www.scparks.com/improv/improvlive.html. The whole thing, with the final draft, will eventually be on Laurie's website.

As Laurie explains:
.. I am scheduled to do an event as my performance to celebrate being named my county's [Santa Cruz, CA] Artist of the Year. That event will be a writer's improv, when online viewers can watch the live writing of a story eventually intended to go into a collection edited by Dana Stabenow.
