Well, my brain went into some wierd zone today (after some provocation which I can't link to, heh), and induced me to write a somewhat violent, virtually-non-con, PwP, unsafe mansex, almost-rapefic featuring two members of Metallica.

[livejournal.com profile] saluqi appeared to like it, which was the aim, really. So if you really want to see if James/Jason slash is possible, feel free to check out Turn the Page. Comments welcome. Even the OMGWTFWT! kind.

But since it took about an hour to write, with somewhat less than that research time, please pardon any egregrious factual errors!

I liked it! I just didn't know what to say apart from Whoah! Also, my guiltmeter pinged about the Firefly thing you sent me, oh, only a year ago, and I thought I'd better keep schtum.

Did you know that a while back, one the more famous popslashers ([livejournal.com profile] merryish, I think) had some of her N'Sync stories stolen by a Guns n'Roses slasher? The culprit did a straightforward s&r on the names and apparently it worked really well. The idea of Justin Timberlake neatly translated into Axl Rose still kills me. Anyway, the G&R slash community were furious with the culprit but terribly charming to the popslashers. Real Person Slash fans are immensely charming.

Hey, No Guilt needed here. :-) Since it's about a quarter of the length of the Firefly thing (and gets to the point a lot better), it's much more digestable. So, no wuckers at all, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

That's a scream about the N'Sync/G&R substitution. Mind you, I personally think the spandex-and-hair type of rockers might as well be boy bands doing close harmony. They've got about the same amount of "edge".

Re linkage, I had to lock the entry because my sister and her vicar husband read my unlocked journal entries. While they know I'm poly, queer, etc, I think barely consensual heavy-metal bondage butt-sex might cause a bit of drama. This is the sister who wrote to the Bear asking if she thought she would ever change her mind about being transexual. Sweet woman, but very much with the wanting us to find Jesus and clean up our act.

However, a fellow metalhead on my f-list who shall remain nameless emailed me about it and said *phew* Ok, now, where is my vibrator? I think I like this woman. She should write more :)

So there you have it, another bit of feedback.

Yes, and I should have thought about who the original entry was locked to as well. Sorry about that - eek, having one's family reading one's l/j is a bit disturbing. Won't forget now! :-/

As for the other positive feedback, w00t! *blush*
