Stupid English comedy nostalgia

One of the guys at work was talking about 'Allo 'Allo today. While I thought it was a pretty stupid programme, I did like The Fallen Madonna With the Big Boobies, and erm, I thought Herr Flick was fab. Now I'm having to resist urges to go around saying, "You may kiss me, Helga," or attempting to feed people Peruvian Fruit Bat truth serums (no need to mention homeopathy, is there?). I'm sure the guys here think I'm strange enough.
But really, the best UK comedy was The Goodies. And then there was Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (yes, I know the purists think only the radio show is worth it, but I like it). And Not the Nine O'Clock News. Oh, god, and Spitting Image. "The President's Brain Is Missing" sketches (about Reagan) were comedy gold. Must see if I can bittorrent some.
ETA: I forgot Alas Smith and Jones! I surely didn't need to mention Blackadder. It's interesting how people seem to be either Blackadder OR Mr Bean fans, without much overlap. Certainly, Bean didn't work for me in the slightest.
And yay YouTube - plenty of Not the Nine O'Clock News, including the General Synod's Life of Christ sketch. And, of course, Gerald the Gorilla ("Wild [when you caught me]? I was bloody livid.") Then there were the Satanists, who now remind me scarily of certain OTW poly types. Hee! (I'll stop while I'm ahead)
